Washington Trust Named “Best-In-State” Bank by Forbes

Westerly, RI – June 29, 2020 - The Washington Trust Company was named by Forbes as the “Best In-State Bank” in Rhode Island as part of its annual listing/ranking of the best banks in each of the 50 states. Notably, Washington Trust was the only bank selected in Rhode Island. Forbes and market research firm Statista surveyed approximately 25,000 U.S. consumers and asked them to rate financial institutions in the areas of ‘Trust,’ ‘Terms & Conditions,’ ‘Branch Services,’ ‘Digital Services,’ and ‘Financial Advice”. Of the 5,117 banks in America, just 2.6% made Forbes’ list.
