Washington Trust Hires Mortgage Loan Officer in Greater Boston Market

Wellesley, MA –The Washington Trust Company is pleased to announce that Nicholas Sears of Revere, MA has been hired as a Mortgage Loan Originator for the Washington Trust Mortgage Company LLC in the Greater Boston area. Sears will be based out of the company’s Wellesley office and will work to serve the mortgage needs of the surrounding community, developing and deepening referral relationships and originating mortgage loans.
Washington Trust Mortgage Company offers a full range of mortgage solutions, including fixed rate, adjustable rate, first time homebuyer, construction and reverse mortgages, as well as home equity loans and lines of credit. Sears will be joining the team of experienced mortgage professionals who are dedicated to helping borrowers through all stages of life by providing customized, comprehensive financing and personalized services.
Sears joins Washington Trust from HarborOne Bank, where he began his career as a Mortgage Loan Originator operating out of the Burlington office. Sears, a former realtor in the Boston area, has a deep knowledge of the local real estate landscape and looks forward to putting his knowledge and experience to work for future homebuyers.
Sears holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He is active in the local community and volunteers his time as a youth football coach in the Boston area.
