Halsey Associates Becomes Corporate Sponsor of The Shubert Theatre

New Haven, CT – July 22, 2020 - Halsey Associates has announced a $3,500 corporate sponsorship to The Shubert Theatre for their 2020- 2021 season. Support of the Corporate Club program allows The Shubert to continue to offer live theater to the community, including those that could not otherwise afford to attend. Funds raised also help to maintain the legendary Shubert New Haven, recognized as an icon of American Musical Theater.
“The Shubert Theatre depends greatly upon support from our corporate sponsors to fill the gap between ticket sales and theatre operations,” said Len Suzio, Board Chair at The Shubert, “We are excited to welcome Halsey Associates to our Corporate Club.”
The legendary Shubert Theatre in New Haven opened its doors in 1914 and since then, earned the title “The Birthplace of the Nation’s Greatest Hits” by staging over 300 shows that later opened in New York. From its original mission as a Broadway tryout house, the theatre has evolved into a not-for-profit, community resource that serves as the heartbeat of the region’s cultural life. In addition to the Broadway offerings and performances of dance, popular music and family entertainment, the Shubert offers comprehensive education and engagement programs, fulfilling its mission to make the performing arts available to all members of the community.
